The silky smooth decadent layers of creamy chocolate and raspberry make this layered mousse dessert irresistible.
Ingredients
Chocolate Sauce

- 2 cups cream  Â
- â…“ cup water
- 11.5 oz dark chocolate

Mousse  Â
-  2 cups heavy cream  Â
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 10 oz jar Heidi’s Raspberry Jam
Directions
- For the chocolate sauce, add water, sugar, and cream to a non-reactive pot. Bring mixture to a scald over medium heat, stirring to dissolve sugar.
- While cream mixture is heating, add chocolate chips to a separate bowl. Once cream mixture is ready, immediately pour over chocolate and let it melt for about 10 minutes.
- Whisk chocolate mixture to combine until smooth. Let cool in refrigerator for 1 hour or overnight.
- For the raspberry mousse, slowly whisk together cold cream and sugar until foamy either by hand or in stand mixer, then increase speed until stiff peaks form.
- Add 1 cup of the chilled chocolate mixture and whisk until combined being careful not to over whisk and make butter.
- Dollop alternating layers of mousse, chocolate sauce, and jam into a glass vessel of your choice.Â
