Heidi’s take on a crunchy classic, these spicy crumbles are sure to please ‘round the breakfast table.


  • 6 cups rolled oats
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • ½ cup dry milk
  • ¾ cup olive oil
  • 10 oz jar Heidi’s Raspberry Ginger Jam (strained)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract


  1. Preheat oven to 300°F. Line a half sheet baking tray with parchment paper.

  2. Combine all dry ingredients in a large bowl, making sure to break up any clumps of brown sugar.

  3. Combine all wet ingredients in a smaller bowl with a whisk. Wet ingredients can be refrigerated for an hour prior to combining for easier mixing.

  4. Add wet ingredients to dry, mixing by hand until mixture is thoroughly uniform.

  5. Pack mixture into lined baking sheet and bake until color begins to develop, approximately 40 minutes.

  6. Flip the mixture and repack into baking tray baking for a further 20 minutes or until golden brown.
