Heidi’s take on a crunchy classic, these spicy crumbles are sure to please ‘round the breakfast table.
Ingredients
- 6 cups rolled oats
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- ½ cup dry milk
- ¾ cup olive oil
- 10 oz jar Heidi’s Raspberry Ginger Jam (strained)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions
- Preheat oven to 300°F. Line a half sheet baking tray with parchment paper.
- Combine all dry ingredients in a large bowl, making sure to break up any clumps of brown sugar.
- Combine all wet ingredients in a smaller bowl with a whisk. Wet ingredients can be refrigerated for an hour prior to combining for easier mixing.
- Add wet ingredients to dry, mixing by hand until mixture is thoroughly uniform.
- Pack mixture into lined baking sheet and bake until color begins to develop, approximately 40 minutes.
- Flip the mixture and repack into baking tray baking for a further 20 minutes or until golden brown.
