Raspberry Mocha

A fresh raspberry take on a coffee classic from our friends at Roots Farm Cafe.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brewed coffee
  • 4 Tbsp chocolate shavings or cocoa powder
  • ½ cup cream or milk
  • 1 Tbsp Heidi’s Raspberry Jam

Directions

  1. Brew 8 oz. of coffee with your regular brew method.

  2. Measure out milk or cream and place in heatable bowl. You can use more or less than suggested amount maintaining a ratio of 2 parts milk/ cream to 1 part chocolate.

  3. Add chocolate and raspberry jam to milk and heat slowly by double boiler method or microwave. If melting in a microwave, heat mixture for 30 second intervals and stir, until creamy and fully combined.

  4. Add warm chocolate milk mixture slowly into coffee.

Variations:

  1. Add whipped cream, fresh raspberries, and chocolate shavings on top.

  2. Add a shot of Bailey’s Irish Cream, whiskey, or liqueur for an adult version.

  3. Use an espresso machine instead of brewing regular coffee.
