Strawberry Jam Bars Recipe

Heidi’s Strawberry Jam makes the perfect filling in these Oh so scrumptious oat bars. Perfect as a dessert or a sweet snack.


  • 1 stick of room temp unsalted butter
  • 1 ½ cups all purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cups rolled oats
  • ½ cup brown sugar packed
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 egg
  • 10 oz jar Heidi’s Strawberry Jam


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F

  2. On a baking sheet toast the oats for 10 to 15 minutes stirring occasionally.

  3. Line a 9×9 pyrex dish with parchment using a very small amount of oil to hold parchment in place.

  4. Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl, making sure to break up any clumps of brown sugar.

  5. Add softened butter to mixture and stir until combined. Then add egg and mix until combined.

  6. Pack ⅔ of mixture evenly into lined pyrex. Pour the jar of Heidi’s strawberry jam on top and spread evenly. Sprinkle remaining oat mixture over top of jam layer pressing lightly to anchor.

  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown on center rack, turning 180° at halfway point. Let rest for minimum 1 hour or overnight to set. Remove from Pyrex and cut into bars.
