Thanksgiving Cranberry Raspberry Sauce

A hot take on a thanksgiving classic. This fresh and spicy raspberry twist is sure to be a crowd pleaser at your family gathering this year.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz fresh cranberries
  • 2 oranges
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ to 1 cup sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 small cinnamon stick
  • Pinch of ground ginger
  • ¼ tsp grated fresh nutmeg
  • 3 to 4 oz Heidi’s Raspberry Red Chile Jam

Directions

  1. Zest oranges and set aside.

  2. Juice oranges into a pot, straining out the seeds and pulp.

  3. Add water, cranberries, spices, salt, and ½ cup sugar to pot and cook 15 minutes on medium heat.

  4. Continue to cook until cranberries pop, smashing with a spoon if needed. Taste and add sugar as desired.

  5. Cool for 10 minutes and serve immediately or chill overnight and allow flavors to meld.
