A hot take on a thanksgiving classic. This fresh and spicy raspberry twist is sure to be a crowd pleaser at your family gathering this year.
Ingredients
- 12 oz fresh cranberries
- 2 oranges
- ½ cup water
- ½ to 1 cup sugar
- Pinch of salt
- 1 small cinnamon stick
- Pinch of ground ginger
- ¼ tsp grated fresh nutmeg
- 3 to 4 oz Heidi’s Raspberry Red Chile Jam
Directions
- Zest oranges and set aside.
- Juice oranges into a pot, straining out the seeds and pulp.
- Add water, cranberries, spices, salt, and ½ cup sugar to pot and cook 15 minutes on medium heat.
- Continue to cook until cranberries pop, smashing with a spoon if needed. Taste and add sugar as desired.
- Cool for 10 minutes and serve immediately or chill overnight and allow flavors to meld.
